The Heron is one of the prettiest hostelries in town, with 12 jewel-box rooms. Splurge on Room 31, the Bridal Suite, with a jetted tub and gas fireplace, or Room 32, with gas fireplace, spacious sitting area, and a wonderful view of the Skagit Valley and Cascades. Downstairs is an elegant living room with wing chairs and a formal dining room, where full breakfast is served. Out back, barbeque in the stone fire pit or slip into the tot tub. The day spa (open to inn guests and the public) has two treatment rooms and offers a variety of massages, facials, and skin treatments.
